We are pulling a 2006 4cyl Saturn Vue. It pulls great, we hardly even
know it's behind the RV when towing. We use a Blue OX tow bar and base
plate and the Unified Tow Brake
(http://www.usgear.cc/unified_tow_brake.htm) as our auxiliary braking
system. Because of the height difference between the motorhome and the
Vue, we have a six-inch drop bar on our hitch so that the tow bar is
close to level.
The set up cycle takes about five minutes (per the Saturn Dealer and
Vue manual, have the car running 30 seconds each in L, M, D and then 3
minutes in neutral, then remove the AUX fuse.). Hook tow bar up to
base plate, hook up emergency brake activator, and hook up emergency
connection chains (cables), and plug in the wiring. I got tired of
pulling the fuse, so I installed a switch on the fuse that can be
switched off from inside the car.
Pictures of the wiring, including the fuse switch are in a set on our
Flickr account here :

we3peas,
I see you are pulling a Saturn Vue. We are getting a class A and are thinking about pulling our Saturn Vue. Does it pull well and what tow bar etc....do you use.
Thanks,
Lesa
